Drew Henry

Founder/Copywriter

My name is Drew Henry, and I’m the lead copywriter here at DHW. I worked in marketing for both local businesses and national corporations for over half a decade before I decided to break free and start my own business during a global pandemic. (There’s no right time to start a business after all, right?) I graduated from Tulane University with degrees in communication theory, film, and business. When I moved into my first apartment, I went the extra mile to get a certification in interior design. From there, I started giving advice on a little design blog featured in Apartment Therapy, Better Homes & Gardens, and realtor.com. Learning new things is definitely a passion of mine, and I love researching topics for my work. However, my favorite part about copywriting is the opportunity to share other people’s amazing stories. On a Sunday morning, you can catch me enjoying a cup of coffee and possibly reading a good book. I also love yoga and cannot start my mornings without finding my zen and center. (Namaste.) My role model is Taylor Swift because she would have definitely been a copywriter if she weren't a singer.

My sign is a Gemini, which coincidentally is the sign most suited to a writing career. So you can expect your copy to be full of sharp wit — or anything you like. We’re versatile and adaptable.

Frankie Graff

Assistant Copywriter

My name is Frankie Graff, and I’m an assistant copywriter for DHW.  I studied literature and gender studies at the University of Montana in Missoula and moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend graduate school. Now, I am pursuing a dual Master’s degree in technical & professional writing and English at Portland State University. When I’m not reading or writing (which I usually am), I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest and upcycling textiles. Researching and organizing information has always been an essential part of my academic career, and I love being able to help businesses grow by doing the same. Like Drew, I also love Taylor Swift. My most prized possessions are my signed copies of Red, Folklore, and Evermore. I credit Taylor Swift for my ability to craft a compelling narrative. (If you are a fan, you know this all too well.)

My sign is Scorpio. So, conducting research is a strong suit of mine, which is what I’m here for!

Robin Fletcher

Assistant Copywriter

Hi there, I'm Robin Fletcher! I'm an assistant copywriter at DHW, but I moonlight as a member of the Grammar Police. As a San Antonio Local, I've eaten too many delicious enchiladas to live comfortably anywhere else, so I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I graduated from UTSA in 2020 (yikes) with my degree in professional writing. On any given day, you might find me trying a new coffee shop, hanging out with my dogs, or dining in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with my husband. There are few things I love more than playing board games, singing car karaoke, and sitting on my couch doing absolutely nothing. (We all need a break every once in a while, right?)

I'm a fiery Aries with chill energy. Meaning I'm relentlessly competitive but know when to pull back. In everything I do, I strive to be #1. So, I'm always up to take on even the most challenging projects!

Zachary Wright

Managing Editor

My name is Zachary-Taylor Wright, and I’m the managing editor for DHW, but I mainly sift through the brilliant words of other writers to ensure consistency. As a journalist who’s covered everything from downtown San Antonio up to some of the rural slices of the hill country, I know all about grammar and style. No misplaced comma or run-on sentence will go unscathed. On the off chance you catch me away from a computer, you’re likely at a coffee shop. I’ll have a cold brew in tow no matter where you see me, however. Yes, it is a personality trait. Otherwise, I’m likely at home reading The New Yorker to my dog.

If you hadn’t guessed already, I’m a Virgo. In true form, I’m a stickler for rules and grammar and strive for perfection.

Marie Henry

Copy Editor

My name is Marie Henry, and I am the DHW copy editor. With almost 30 years of experience as an English teacher, there isn’t a typo or misplaced modifier that can get past me! I love learning something new every time I read and edit a blog. (The interior design posts are my favorite.) On a Sunday morning, you can catch me brunching with friends and passing the day with a murder mystery novel — preferably something by Agatha Christie. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, and embroidery. You can also find me enjoying beach reads oceanside during the winter off-season. My parents are my role models, as they taught me the importance of hard work and determination.

My sign is Cancer, so you can rest easy knowing your copy is in nurturing hands during the editing process!
